Management

O2Works is comprised of the most seasoned Oracle E-Business Suite consultants in the world. Our team members possess a minimum of twenty years of hands-on Oracle E-Business Suite experience and participate extensively in the Oracle user group community as volunteers, presenters, publishers, and leaders.

Mark C. Clark – Senior Partner 

Mr. Clark has been involved with Oracle Applications since 1990, starting with Oracle Corporation as one of their first Applications Consultants, and later co-founding and growing one of the first Oracle Applications consulting firms outside of Oracle.

His specialties include analysis, design, setup, conversion, planning, and training for Oracle Applications implementations including both technical and functional aspects of the modules. He also has experience with the design and development of custom applications and product extensions utilizing Application Object Library. Mr Clark has also taught courses on the Oracle Applications for his clients, which have included Oracle University. In addition, he has been a project leader or project manager on many Oracle Applications implementations and upgrades from MPL5 through the most recent iterations of Release 12.2.

Through roles with the Oracle Applications User Group Mr. Clark has lead efforts on behalf of the OAUG and Special Interest Groups to provide enhancements information directly to Oracle development and product managers. Updates to this program were announced to the public at Oracle Open World 2013, and are being implemented in 2014.

Mr. Clark has assisted long term E-Business Suite customers with assessments and roadmaps to ensure that their business processes are taking full advantage of the native capabilities of the EBS. His experiences include creation of methodologies to support consolidation of systems with multiple instances around the world into a single global instance, as well as design and execution of strategies around upgrades to 11i and R12, and point release maintenance between various versions of 11i and R12.

Mr. Clark has been extensively involved in the Oracle User Group community throughout his career, co-founding the North Central Oracle Applications User Group (NCOAUG) with volunteers from Motorola, holding board positions and the Presidency on the South Central Oracle User Group (SCOUG and SCOAUG) and holding positions on the national Oracle Applications User Group (OAUG) committees, where he recently completed two years as President of the OAUG.

Mr. Clark is a Board member for the OAUG and is currently serving a two year term through 2014. Mr. Clark is also a member of the Application Technology Customer Advisory Board (CAB) working with development and product managers at Oracle Corporation.

Jerry Sachse – Partner

Mr. Sachse has worked exclusively with Oracle Applications since 1993, focusing on implementing and maintaining Manufacturing and Financials. With over thirty-nine years of Information System experience, he has designed, developed, installed and maintained a wide variety of applications supporting many industries. His extensive manufacturing background spans the Retail, Medical Equipment, Automotive Parts, Computer, Food Processing, Industrial Electrical Equipment, Chemical and Modem manufacturing industries.

Mr. Sachse has served as a project manager and lead consultant on many global and multi-site implementations, upgrades and conversions, from Oracle 9.3 to 12.2.9. His functional and technical management areas of expertise include change management, business process analysis, system analysis and design, and resource and task planning and scheduling.

His functional skills include Oracle: Inventory, Bills of Material, Purchasing, Work in Process, MS/MRP, Order Management, Shipping Execution, Cost Management, Engineering, AOL, iProcurement, Depot Repair, Install Base, Advanced Supply Chain Planning and iStore. Technical skills include Oracle Manufacturing and Finance, as well as SQL*Loader, SQL*Plus, SQL*Reports, SQL* Report Writer 1.1, PL/SQL, and Unix.

Art Dowd

Art Dowd is Consulting Director for O2Works and has more than 22 years experience working with the Oracle applications. Formerly a VP of Information Technology for a National Hospitality Company, he was responsible for the implementation of the Oracle eBusiness applications as well as building the infrastructure (including WAN and LAN, Help Desk, web site, overhauling the data center, etc.) to support a 725 property chain. Prior to that, he had compiled an extensive business background spanning Business Planning & Analysis, Operations Support, Field Operations Management, and leading a company-wide Re-engineering effort.

Mr. Dowd has also worked for Oracle Corporation and was the CEO for a well known Oracle e-Bus System Integration firm. His unique experience from “both sides of the desk” gives him a broad perspective on how to maximize the value of a company’s Oracle investment and align technology with business objectives. He consults with O2Works customers on support, upgrades, project strategies, and migrations. In addition he handles project quality assurance and manages the O2Works remote services offerings. He has spoken at numerous conferences about upgrading the Oracle e-Bus applications and the importance of Change Management methodology when upgrading to Release 12 and is a Board Member of OATUG Upgrade Special Interest Group (SIG).

Robert Braden Jr.

Mr. Braden is a Consulting Director with O2Works and possesses over twenty years of experience working with top hardware and ERP software organizations. Previously an executive with IBM, Mr. Braden specialized in higher education clients and was responsible for alliances between IBM and many prestigious institutions that focused on collaborative research and product testing. With over ten years of experience supporting Oracle clients, Mr. Braden has also worked for Oracle Corporation and was the Director of Sales and Client Relationship Management for a well known Oracle E-Business consulting boutique. Additionally, his ERP experience includes four years of supporting PeopleSoft clients through various implementations and upgrades.

Mr. Braden utilizes his extensive client management experience with national consulting services organizations to ensure that O2Works customers are maximizing their Oracle investment. With responsibility for client requirements and overall project satisfaction, he partners with our customers to support implementations, upgrades, and support engagements.
